The subject of the project is the Astronomical Observatory building, which is part of the city park "Loven dom". The observatory is of great importance for the city. Blagoevgrad and its enrichment as a science hub for astronomy and physics and an inter-school center with STEM classrooms, as well as providing a base for local community astronomy clubs, will help enrich the entire region.

The project assignment envisages a complete reconstruction, extension, addition, interior and exterior renovation, building energy efficiency and accessible environment.
